B.A.T.: Balkan Rock Nostalgia (2008)
Tatalovic's documentary and multimedia journalism work dates back to 2004 and first behind-the-scenes "featurettes", shot for various indie productions. In 2006 he follows ex-Yugoslav musicians on their North-American tour and records their every day work, interactions, and public performances. "B.A.T.: Balkan Rock Nostalgia" feature documentary (full movie available for free on Vimeo - above) is the result of this journey. Shot on one of first indie documentary cine-DV cameras (Panasonic DVX series), and using journalistic verite-style, the film preserves the most memorable moments from the tour, including exclusive interviews from New York City's famous Roseland Ballroom.
